Barometer and Altimeter is a straightforward application designed for measuring atmospheric pressure and altitude. It utilizes various built-in features, including:

<li>Built-in GPS</li>
<li>Built-in pressure sensor/barometer (In case the device lacks a barometric sensor, the application retrieves atmospheric pressure data from the nearest meteorological station on the internet)</li>
<li>An automatic altitude and atmospheric pressure calibration algorithm that relies on information from local meteorological stations</li>
</ul>
The notable features of Barometer and Altimeter include:
<ul>
<li>Accurate measurement of height above sea level by leveraging GPS technology and other sensors</li>
<li>Precise measurement of barometric pressure (subject to the equipped pressure sensor and available online data verification)</li>

<li>Availability of current weather data and information from your local weather station (if accessible)</li>

However, please note that certain portable devices like tablets, phones, and smartphones may not come equipped with a built-in pressure sensor. Consequently, the measurements obtained on such devices may be slightly less accurate as they will rely on data procured from local meteorological stations.
